I am a fiber artist specializing in handwoven scarves. My collection includes classic Scottish tartans, colorful casual styles and scarves with one-of-a-kind tapestry details. My scarves are woven in variety of fibers including silk, tencel, bamboo and chenille; and many are accented with novelty yarns and ribbons. The weave structures are equally varied including twills, lace weaves, supplemental warps, pick-up designs, inlaid details, and special handling of fibers to produce intriguing textures. In addition to my eclectic collection of scarves, I offer small textured tapestries for the wall. Color... texture... structure... pattern... I enjoy weaving it all. |
